Born and bred in Yorkshire, Holidays4Dogs was first established in 2006 and remains with it’s head office in the York area. As a local business, we are proud to be able to offer our highly successful, bespoke home boarding service to dog owners all over England and parts of Wales and Scotland.
We know wherever you live in the Yorkshire area or indeed the UK, you’ll be looking for complete peace of mind when leaving your pet. About Us
We are passionate about offering you an exceptional holiday stay for your dog when you can’t be with them. Whether it be a family holiday, a forced separation or a planned trip, we’re here to help both you and your dog have as stress separation as possible. Choose a local dog carer to best suit your dog’s needs and come and meet us before booking. Your dog will be invited to be part of our family receiving all the love and attention they need home from home. Both yours and your dog’s safety and well being comes first, for this reason we do not accept other guest dogs to stay and do not pack walk your dog. Instead, your pet will receive all the personal one-to-one care they truly deserve so you can fully relax while you are away.
We offer a range of fabulous local carers and different homes. Some of our carers have a sociable dog of their own for a holiday playmate while others no longer have a dog of their own. All our carers love the company of visiting dogs and can’t wait to meet you.
All our carers are fully approved by us and operate to our very high standards. They come from all walks of life, from families to couples and to single persons. All are all home based and have excellent experience with dogs.

Whether your dog gets along with other dogs & would enjoy the company of the carers own dog or prefer to be the only dog in the home; we have approved carers to suit all. We only accept dogs from one household at a time per carer and never split same family dogs. Register your interest today and come and meet one of our local carers to see for yourself.
All home comforts and glorious place to stay!
Every guest in our care is welcomed into the carers home and live with the carers family just as they would at home. All our approved carers are very experienced dog lovers and have time at home to look after your pet. Some carers no longer own a dog of their own, others own a sociable dog whom you’ll get to meet. All just love having regular guest dogs to stay and will welcome you and your dog with open arms!
Safe enclosed garden for your dog to explore
All our carers are required to have a safe, dog friendly enclosed garden. They also provide a minimum of two good walks per day (or whatever your dog requires). We hand pick carers who have great walks right from the property without having to get in the car and with your permission most are willing to let your dog with good re-call off the lead in a safe place.
