Est. in 2006, Holidays4Dogs is dedicated to giving you and your dog the best possible local home boarding service for your dog. Our service is not to be confused with directory sites of un-audited dog care offers or individual boarders who crowd their homes with dogs.
Holidays4Dogs offers individual one-to-one care for your dog, we do not pack walk or accept multiple dog stays from different families. Your Holidays4Dogs Carer does not go out to work leaving your dog alone and is devoted to your dog’s care 24/7.

Holidays4Dogs provides the only real alternative to kennels where walks and cuddles are guaranteed at no extra cost! Booking with us means you will be invited to meet and greet your dog’s carer in their own home to see exactly where he will be staying. Refer to Our Process web page for help. Whether it is a long awaited holiday or a forced separation when you cannot be there for your dog, your local Holidays4Dogs carer will be there for you fully contactable and eager to help. Many of our guests have never been away from home before, some have very specific needs, all are happy on holiday and always enjoy coming back!

Business Owner
Holidays for dogs originated back in 2006 by founder Claire Rhodes. I became a Carer for Holidays4Dogs back in 2014 and have loved the ethos of the business ever since, what is not to love about dogs and ensuring they have a fabulous holiday of their own with our amazing Carers. I became the proud owner of two franchise areas with Holidays4Dogs over the years and loved running my areas so much so that in May 2025 I became the proud owner of the company, I now look forward to growing the business over the coming years with our amazing team and wonderful Carers. I cannot imagine life without a dog in it, they bring so much joy and love to our lives, and at Holidays4Dogs we want to ensure that they receive that back in bucket loads while enjoying their own holiday with our amazing Carers.
Sam

Sam has been a valuable team member since joining in 2016. As office manager and obsessed with Holidays4Dogs customer service, Sam can be relied upon to help with anything. She is Mum to 2 dogs; Jack the Sprocker & Bella who is a terrier x. Sam is a busy working Mum with three active school aged children. Dogs, kids and Cats Sam’s a busy lady!
Carly
Customer Services and Carer recuitment
Carly joined the team in March 2022 from a very different but very customer facing background of Dental Nursing. Carly is super efficient and keen to help any anxious owner leaving their dog for the first time. Busy Mum of two, Carly is of course a dog mum too with Bessie the Springer and Pippa who is a Terrier-cross. Carly works part-time in the Holidays4Dogs office and carried out much of our new carer interviews. Whether you are looking to use of service or join our team, you are sure to be well looked after well by Carly.
Lucy
Customer Services, Carer recruitment and Social media
Lucy is busy Mum to two active young children and terriers Betty and Barry. Lucy originally came to us fresh from the farm back in March 2013 and quickly established herself as a characterful and very capable member of the Holidays4Dogs office. Since then she has worked around having 2 children who are now school age and is a permanent fixture on the H4D team. Lucy is another very active Mum and occupies herself with children’s ponies both in and outside the show ring and ‘grown up’ riding. Lucy can also be found poolside running her own swim school, at riding club, Skiing (snow and water) supporting school sports or Yachting at sea.
Zoe
Customer Services and Social Media
Zoe has been involved with Holidays4Dogs since 2018, she has been a carer for Holidays4Dogs and also an integral part of the social media side of the business. Zoe and Cameron now live down in Cornwall with their gorgeous son Jude and beautiful Bearded Collie Bodhi. As a family they promote Holidays4Dogs around the south west of England and also support the rest of the team up in Yorkshire. Marketing and Social Media is always high on Zoe’s agenda, there are lots of lovely coastal and beach walks in Cornwall and lots of lovely doggies and owners who hear all about Holidays4Dogs and what a fabulous alternative to kennels it is.
