HOLIDAYS4DOGS - CAMBRIDGE AND SUFFOLK

It was with some trepidation that we left our much loved Schnauzer with strangers. He is just two, very excitable but intelligent and great fun. In the event all went very well and we all seem to be delighted with the result. That includes Holidays4Dogs, the sitters, ourselves and of course, Louis. So a big thank you all round!

We have dealt with Louise our local holidays 4 dogs business owner for the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk area since she started in July 2015. Her help and assistance in matching us to Jackie and her lovely family, her sooo laid back greyhound vixen and her very happy home. We have left a very nervous Lucky now on four occasions with another date booked for august 2016, we were happily amazed at Jackie's thoughtfulness and reassurance on the first and subsequent stays. Lucky now gets excited when we turn into Jackie's road!! It really is just like being at home for Lucky and relaxing for us. The service is really special, Lucky gets so spoilt when he stays, having a cuddle on the sofas, sleeping on the bed with vixen, lots of extra attention, playtime, walks and very special treats.

Louise Radcliffe in Bury St Edmunds organised a home from home stay for my Jack Russell Badger, with the lovely Lynn. Badger had a magic 3 weeks, being walked in the forest, chasing squirrels sleeping on the couch and generally lording it up! I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness and care lavished on my little dog and would not hesitate to use this company again.

My elderly Maltese dog was cared for perfectly during his stay with Lynn in Suffolk. She was immensely caring and kind to him as well as very welcoming during our introductory visit to her immaculate home. He clearly was very happy and had enjoyed his stay in a 'home from home' environment. Lynn also took great care to keep us informed that he had settled in and his activities during his stay. I would be delighted to book again with Lynn and Holidays 4 Dogs if the need arose.

Very friendly, efficient and reliable service from the Cambridgeshire branch. Very easy and convenient online carer availability checker and booking service. Very happy with the carer we were allocated. A real dog lover who looked after our precious pooch really well. Already booked the next holidays in. Very satisfied with service and would highly recommend.

Left my precious parsons terrier Tia with Kate through Holidays4Dogs. What a brilliant experience. The whole process from the start of contacting Louise to the pre stay visit with Kate through to Dropping Tia off and collecting her after a worry free holiday was wonderful. Kate even set photos of Tia playing ball. I can't recommend Holidays4Dogs enough.

Louise contacted me straight away by phone who gave me the lady's name and details of where my beloved Buster would most likely stay. Kate contacted me and we made a time to meet. She was a lovely lady and at once I felt assured it was gonna be a home from home stay for Buster. Kate was so in love with buster and he made himself very much at home with her and her family and her dog Alfie.

Huge thanks to Janet who looked after our ten-year old Lowchen as if he was hers. She took him for regular walks and got to know him really well after five days. Thanks to Holidays4Dogs, we were able to relax and enjoy our break to France, safe in the knowledge that Cookie was happy, as we stayed in contact with Janet. Would definitely use the service again.

The service is friendly helpful and really efficient. And most importantly our dog was happy and very well cared for, with a lovely big garden and another dog to play with … he was tired but happy! I would not hesitate to recommend Holidays4Dogs.

I can not heap enough praise on Louise and Holidays4Dogs in Suffolk. This was the first time we had left our 14 y/o Labrador with any one as we have always taken him away with us so we were a bit worried but after contacting Louise and going through a thorough registration process and then meeting Isobel and viewing his holiday home we knew we had nothing to worry about. Leo was spoilt rotten he was with people who treated him like their own and with regular updates from Isobel we could relax knowing that he was enjoying his holiday as much as we were enjoying ours. I will certainly be using them again and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Our 15 month old German Shepherd/Husky, Logan, stayed with Sharon and Stuart this weekend. It's the first time we have been away without him and I was anxious about putting him in Kennels as he requires a lot of exercise, luckily Holidays 4 Dogs had the perfect carers for him so we avoided kennels! He had a fantastic time and is actually a bit sad to be home again without his new best friend, their dog Kizzy! They have experience looking after larger dogs and their dog Kizzy was brilliant with Logan. Sharon sent me pictures of his time with them throughout the weekend so that we knew how he was getting on. We ended up delayed in coming to pick him up but they were really flexible. Lovely couple who clearly love dogs and are very capable at looking after them. Will definitely be happy to leave Logan with them again next time we are away.

I recently joined up with Holidays4Dogs as my older dog (10 years old) has never stayed in a kennels and I also have a six month old dachshund so I was keen for them both to be looked after in someone's home. I am delighted to say that Jed and Charlie enjoyed a two day break at Rita and Robert's home and I know they had a lovely time, a large garden to run around in, a lovely home to explore and the bonus of two other dogs (their own) to play with. Happy dogs - happy me!

We used Holidays4Dogs for our 2 dogs when we went away for a week in January. I would not hesitate to recommend the service and in particular Robert and Rita who I could not fault. They were perfect carers for our two dogs and I particularly appreciated their updates while we were away, allowing us to relax knowing the dogs were happy. I look forward to using them again in the future.

Jackie looked after our Boxer Henry when we were on holiday for a week and also a couple of overnight stays. Henry was whining to get in to see Jackie and her family when we drove up as he has great fun there and is so well looked after. It makes such a difference to us to go on holiday and know we don't have to worry about leaving Henry. Jackie and her family are so good to Henry and he gets on with their greyhound Vixen. We would definitely recommend Jackie as a carer as she was able to look after a lively boxer who is raw fed as well, and take it all in her stride.

From start to finish dealing with Holidays4Dogs was really good. Louise was really helpful and friendly on the phone and understood how soppy I am about my dogs. I was found the perfect match for a carer in Stephanie, who along with her family welcomed my two into their home, and cared for them exceptionally. They even kept me up to date with photos whilst I was away. I couldn't recommend them more.

Was very happy with both my dogs being looked after at Lesley's home. She looked after them both very well. I will definitely use this site again. I wouldn't put my dogs in kennels again after Lesley looking after them. Thanks again.

I will never use kennels again, my first experience with Holidays4Dogs has been very good. Our dog Sophie is with us all day, every day on the farm but thanks to Lesley who looked after her for a week she was not so lonely when we went away. I would highly recommend the service, or did I get lucky with a lady who has a love for dogs.

Poppy had never stayed away from home before with strangers. From the moment I subscribed to the service and provided the details of my dog's desires to the moment she visited her holiday home, the service was exceptional. She stayed for four days between Christmas and New Year and totally enjoyed herself. She was well looked after, had plenty of walks, enjoyed the company of the Carers dog Vixen and much fuss from the family. I cannot fault the whole process and will always use this option in the future.

Pat and Alan and their 2 dogs made my dog very welcome over Christmas and the New Year. They have a great home, perfect for dogs with a lovely garden, conservatory where the dogs can chill on the sofas, and a large utility room where they dry off after walks and sleep. We did two short stays prior to my holiday and now when my dog recognizes where she is, she gets so excited. Pat and Alan really treat my dog as part of their family. I am so glad I found them.

First class service. Two dogs one of which is a puppy not always easy to place, Sitter was very experienced and helpful. Will definitely use again.

Lynn is an absolutely lovely dog sitter, I trust her 100% with my two dogs. They are both terriers with lots of personality quirks but Lynn loves them both and brings out the best in them. She sends us lovely pictures and videos so we don't miss them too much on holiday and they always look happy and contented and are playing together in the videos so we can rest assured they are having a nice holiday themselves.

Toffee was made very welcome and looked after well. Ann and Robert looked after him extremely well so that he can have an enjoyable holiday at the same time as us. They are a very approachable and friendly family. Louise of Holidays4dogs is also very helpful and answered our questions immediately and helped ensure Toffee was able to go to the same boarders as before.

I was a bit worried about leaving my somewhat highly strung Border Collie, Ted, but I needn't have been as he had a wonderful time with the lovely Ann, her family and dog, Misty. Ann says he behaved himself (despite peeing in the house the moment we arrived!) and would happily have him again. I have no hesitation in recommending Ann as a carer and also Louise who did a fantastic job pairing us up. This is a great company as they actually do care about dogs.

My experience was great and the dog carer Pat is wonderful, she and her husband are very nice people and took great care of my pup.

Sandra was amazing! I left my dog with her full of trepidation as I wondered how he would be in a strange home. He normally stays with friends but I should not have worried. When we came back Robbie was so relaxed and happy he was very well groomed which showed that he had been groomed every day (more than I am able to do leading a busy life) He was even given a new toy which he proudly presented to us. Sandra let him sleep on the couch and said he had been a very good boy enjoyed his walks. I would happily recommend Sandra she is a lovely caring lady.
