HOLIDAYS4DOGS - GLOUCESTERSHIRE

We used Holidays 4 Dogs in December 2012 and were very satisfied with the service provided. The company responded very quickly, found the perfect carer for our German Shepherd within a day and all the documentation was sent out to us promptly. The whole process was hassle-free and quick. The carer, Veronica, who looked after our dog for a week during Christmas was amazing and sent us regular updates and photos throughout our dog's stay with her. She looked after our dog as if it were her own and this made our holiday away so much more enjoyable, knowing our pet was looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Holidays4Dogs to anyone as an alternative to the kennels. Our dog hates staying in a kennel and always used to come back distressed. Having stayed with Veronica from Holidays4Dogs for a week she nearly didn't want to come back home! I think that says a lot about the company and its carers. We will definitely use Holidays 4 Dogs from now on instead of the kennels.

We met our carer Roxy a couple of weeks before hand to ensure that she and Doug got on. The night before we were due to fly, Doug had two fits, Roxy was more than happy to have Doug rather than send him into the vets so that he did not get 'further stressed'. That was the last fit he had and settled into several walks a day. When we collected Doug, although he was ecstatic to see us, he then went to cuddle up to Roxy, I'm not entirely sure he wanted to leave :-). I will certainly be leaving Doug with Roxy again, this was our first holiday together in 5 years as we didn't want to put him into a kennel again. This is well worth the extra money for a much loved pet.

We found Holiday4Dogs on Google search and enquired about availability for our two Labradors "Poppy and Theo" whilst we were on holiday.We were immediately contacted and reassured about your Services. Sue from the Forest of Dean was recommended to us and having visited here we were suitably impressed. We knew that "Poppy and Theo" would be well looked after. When we picked them up after our holiday we knew that they had a brilliant time with Sue and would recommend using Holidays4Dogs and Sue again in the future.

Thank you Jason for looking after Jasper so well. He has had a lovely time and we have been able to relax knowing that he has been in a home from home. Jasper is definitely missing his girls Bella and Holly so we will be back!!

Jason was incredibly patient, allaying all my qualms and concerns about finding the perfect 5* holiday home for my new puppy, Inca. I know I can go on holiday now knowing that she will be in a safe, happy and loving environment. Thank you, Holidays4Dogs. My only worry now is that she won't want to come home!!

We have just returned from a few days away and left our beloved Frenchie, Freddie for the first time. We were a bit anxious about it all but we couldn't of been happier with the whole experience. Holidays4Dogs were wonderful at helping us with everything beforehand and Freddie spent a few days with fabulous carers who looked after and loved him like their own dog. We were kept up to date with how he was and sent photographs. In fact we aren't entirely convinced he wanted to come this morning when we collected him! We would not hesitate again to leave him in their capable hands.

Just wanted to let you know that I was very very happy with the care, attention and love that Alfie obviously received from Julie while we were away. She was lovely, I left feeling very confident that Alfie would be OK. He loved his stay so much he didn't want to come home!! Thank you again, I will definitely be using Julie again.

Charlie had his first ever overnight stay with Fran and her husband. Holidays4Dogs were great and helped me as I was running out of time trying to organise Charlie's care. I was travelling from Essex for my sisters wedding and was really worried to leave Charlie. I didn't have to worry as he appeared to have an excellent time and enjoyed being with two other dogs! Thanks to Holidays4Dogs for taking such great care of him and enabling me not worry and instead enjoy myself!

First experience of using Holiday4Dogs and would definitely recommend. The service was first class - our dog's holiday family ensured we were kept up to date with how he was doing the whole time. Very much a home from home experience and arranged at fairly short notice. The support and help was fantastic, very professional with everything to ensure the right carer was found. We left our 2 year old dog for just over a week, his first experience of being cared for out of his own home. He received fantastic care. The carer went above and beyond expectation. He came home happy, and with a clean bed! Would definitely recommend and use again.
